Description

CREETING ST.PETER MILL LANE TM 05 NE 4/72 The Clamp - II Farmhouse, c.1840 with parallel rear range of mid C17. Gault brick. Hipped slated roof with internal chimneys of gault brick. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Small-pane sashes with moulded cast-iron lintels. 6-panelled entrance door (the upper panels glazed), with oblong fanlight, heavy moulded cornice and pilasters. The rear range is of 3-cell plan with 2 storeys and attics: Timber-framed and roughcast, plaintiled roof with axial C19 chimney of gault brick. Exposed C17 framing, with chamfered joists laid flat.
