Description

Archaeological evaluation was undertaken at Burton End and Puddle brook for a development across two areas by trial trenching. Area A was excavated to a minimum area od 2% with area B having a minimum of 1%. The trenches were in Area A had six trenches with a total length of 600, and were between 40m to 236m long. This Equated to 3.5% of the total area and were between 60cm to 130cm in depth. Area B contained nine trenches with a total length of 570m and were between 50m to 110m in length.
