Full Description
October 1997: Part evaluation of proposed housing development site. Two fields evaluated (for 2nd north field, see HVH 035).
South Field: 1% trenching (i.e. 500m by 2m trenches) revealed small number of Iron Age (or Early Saxon?) features comprising pits, post holes, ditches & pottery in trench 7 (S1).
1998: Full excavation revealed a series of Iron Age linear and curvilinear ditches and post holes (S2).
