Description
Watching brief identified a lot of 19/20th century building debris on the bare, stripped, sloping sides to the site and the 1st edition OS map show a pair of cottages. These cottages were demolished in the mid 20th century to allow for widening of the adjacent road. 6 sherds of 13th/14th courseware pottery were recovered (S1).
