Full Description
2009: Watching brief identified a lot of 19th-early 20th century building debris in the location of a pair of cottages visible on the 1st edition OS map. These cottages were demolished in the mid 20th century to allow for widening the adjacent road. Also, 6 sherds of 13th/14th century courseware and one sherd of 17th century red ware were recovered (S1).
