Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out within part of a proposed development area at Aldham Mill Hill. The evaluation consisted of 12 trial trenches which were opened by mechanical excavator. In total 1246.5m of trench were opened representing a sample of two percent of the area evaluated. Finds and features of Prehistoric, Roman, Medieval and Post Medieval date were identified during the evaluation trenching (S1).
