Description

Following a proposal to erect a new dwelling within the curtilage of a possible late medieval and 16th century listed building a desk-based assessment traced the property back to the early Post medieval period as small, sub-tenanted farm of 16 acres called Plumptons. A subsequent archaeological evaluation was then conducted on the proposed house plot site.
