An evaluation was carried out prior to a possible housing development. The evaluation consisted of 23 trenches on Field L27 and 4 trenches on Field L19. The trenches all measured 30m long and 2m wide. A single pit of medieval date was identified in Field 27. The trenches in Field L19 were all negative.
