Description

Due to remains dating to the Bronze Age identified during evaluation trenching, an excavation was undertaken in the centre of the site. A roughly square area measuring 41m by 38m was exposed by machine and archaeological features hand excavated. This excavation revealed Bronze Age cremations and Anglo-Saxon remains (S1).
