Site Event/Activity record ESF25219 - Monitoring - School Road, Coddenham

Monitoring of groundworks confirmed the presence of extensive deposits of redeposited hillwash along the downslope side of the site. No archaeological features or finds were recorded. The results of the monitoring therefore confirm the impression given by the evaluation trenching that the finds recovered from the first phase of archaeological work on the site are re-deposited and probably come from features indicative of past activity upslope and to the east of the development area.
