Description
Two footing trenches, as well as a soak-away trnech and an associated soak-away pit, were excavated to the rear of 24 Out Risbygate Street. Within the foundation trenches and soak-away hole five skeletons were excavated, four of which were withing individual cut graves. A fairly uniform soil profile was present across the site, with 0.1-0.3m of topsoil overlying 0.3-0.35m of orangish-brown, stony, chalky garden soil/subsoil.
