Description
Archaeological trial trenching was undertaken by NPS archaeology in February 2019 was undertaken at Queens House, ahead of a proposed residential development.Two trenches were excavated in Area A, west of Queens House. Six trenches were excavated in Area B, south of Queens House. Six of the trenches were 10.00m long, one trench in Area A was 20.00m in length and one in Area B was 15.00m. All trenches were 1.80m wide.
