Full Description
Archaeological Trial trench revealed only two features of purposely uprooted trees contianing no finds, and were most liklet to be natural in origin. The majority of the trenches were heavily disturbed by levelling the area to construct a surface car park on a steep slope. Despite evidence for possible Roman settlement and an Anglo-Saxon cemetery in the school grounds, the evaluation provided little evidence of human activity of any period (S1).
