Description
A magnetometry and a metal detecting survey of an area of 6 ha on land immediately north west of Lakenheath in Suffolk. The magnetometry survey used a Bartington Grad 601-2 gradiometer with readings taken at 0.25m centres along 1m traverse. The survey areas were separated into 30 by 30 grids giving 3600 measurements per grid. The meatal detecting survey area was split into a series of parallel transects separated by 20m and set out using RTK GPS.
