Description
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 70 hectares of agricultural land. The survey identified two rectilinear anomalies of probable archaeological origin. Two possible archaeological anomalies have also been identified; however they could also be of agricultural origin. The remaining anomalies are of geological or modern origin. The modern anomalies relate to agricultural activity, scattered magnetic debris, underground services, ferrous objects and fencing. Readings were taken at 0.25m centres along traverses 1m apart.
