Full Description

Concentration of metalwork, mainly PMed, plus one late Med dagger scabbard chape and two long cross pennies of Edward I (one inscribed HENRICVS). Also one Rom coin.
Found with a metal detector (S1)
September 1996: Fieldwalking and metal detecting survey by Lowestoft Archaeological and Local History Society Field Group by `casual lne-walk' located 58 sherds Med pottery and several pieces lava millstone. Also some LMed/PMed pin tile & pottery, PMed pottery , gunflint & metalwork, 7 Preh worked flints. Details in (S3).
