Fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey located scatter of PMed debris in field `398' in long `dogleg' of dark soil spread along W & SW corners of field alongside road and opposite dwellings shown on OS 1st edition map of 1837 (S1). Finds listed as PMed debris including C18-C20 pottery, tile, brick and ironwork (S2).
No buildings shown on site on OS 1st edition so presumably representative of dumping, possibly from houses opposite?
