Full Description

Large sherd of pottery, partially abraded (? by water) `found by ditch near footpath', 29 July 1986 by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) (S1).
The sherd comes from a fine ware bowl of Darmsden type with a short upright neck above a carination. Fabric contains crushed burnt flint & burnt organic matter.
