Full Description
1977: Scatter of Rom metalwork found with a metal detector ? by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), in field (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Now sold (S1).
Details in site file stolen in Autumn 1981, though finds listed as `dolphin brooch, strap end etc, also coins'. Some photographed - AGZ shows a fragment of a Langton Down brooch, a complete hinged Colchester derivative and a trinket ring with small ?glass bead setting. AJT shows a peltate plate brooch (also Med buckle plate and fitting on AGZ (S2).
1978: Further plate brooch from this site photographed (S3). Note: ? Separate Rom scatter to E in same field - IKL 021.
