Full Description

Bronze penannular brooch with red enamel in the terminals - Fowlers type F1, `Dark Age' (? C5 to C8)(S1). Diameter approximately 7.5 cms, round section rod 0.5 cms diameter, pin 8.4 cms long. Drawing in parish file (S2). Found during carrot harvesting. Grid reference correct to field only, confirmed in April 1989 (S3).
