Full Description

March 1986: Fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey located C13 to C15? pottery scatter & dark soil, in 40m x 30m area, in "Field 222", near road. This site crosses parish boundary into Clopton but is mostly on Burgh side. Finds consisted of 32 sherds including 2 glazed (S1).
