Full Description

September 1985: Silver long cross penny, worn, of Edward I (AD 1272-1307) found on "Field 110" during fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey.
Also note a dense concentration of granite chips at TM 2244 5315 (S1) - these are probably the remains of filter beds from a sewage works shown on the 1: 10560 map in the S corner of the field (Compare to CLO 029.)
