Winter 1986/1987: fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey located Sax & Med pottery scatters, over 30m x 30m area, in "Field 494", adjoining churchyard of old parish church - MTN 010 & Old Church Lane.

Full Description

Winter 1986/1987: fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey located Sax & Med pottery scatters, over 30m x 30m area, in "Field 494", adjoining churchyard of old parish church - MTN 010 & Old Church Lane. Finds consisted of 2 sherds Ipswich ware & 7 sherds Thetford type ware.
Also 3 flint flakes & 4 Rom sherds on field (S1).
Also Med.
