Full Description

November 1987: Fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey located thin lithic scatter & pot sherd, over 80m x 80m area, in "Field 597". Finds consisted of 1 scraper, 1 retouched & 13 other flakes and 1 sherd flint-gritted hand-made (possibly Iron Age) pottery (S1).

Descriptions of flint finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they may be later Prehistoric, based on details of discovery, (S2).
