Full Description
Coins, one Antoninus Pius and two Constantine I (AD 307-320) ; brooch, tiny trumpet type with three spots of discoloured enamel on flattened portion of the bow (1985)(S1).
Coins (range Domitian?, C2, little C3, early C4 & few 330's on), brooches, amphora-shaped strap end (S2). Also Early Saxon brooch fragment & med finds. Found from metal detecting (1985-8).
Side knob from a cruciform brooch, found metal detecting (S3). Mainly Roman and medieval finds.
Metalwork including shield shaped harness pendant with red enamel traces, gilded harness pendant, gilded buckle, few coins, found metal detecting (S4)(S5). Scatter is mostly Roman with an Early Saxon brooch fragment.
A copper-alloy finger-ring with a narrow D-sectioned hoop and lozengiform bezel, decorated with an engraved animal in Trewhiddle style, now rather worn (S6). Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2011 (S7).
