Full Description

1985: Fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey located C13/C14 (& PMed) scatters, over 40m x 20m area, on "Field 228". Former site of cottage burnt down in ? late C19.
Med finds consisted of 7 sherds coarseware, also area of dark soil (S1). Note finds scatter limited to area of triangular plot shown on OS 1:10560 map, circa 1950's (S2).
