Full Description
1985: Fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey located PMed pottery, tile & brick scatter, over 40m x 20m area, on "Field 228". On former site of cottage burnt down in ?late C19.
Finds consisted of numerous PMed sherds (& brick & tile) and also area of dark soil (S1). Note finds limited to area of triangular plot shown on OS, 10560 map, circa 1950's (S2).
