Full Description
Redgrave (deer) Park (also see Med) landscaped for Rowland Holt in 1763 by Capability Brown.
White (1855) says Redgrave Hall - see RGV 014, built (?or remodelled) in 1770 by Holt, who also embellished Park at expense of 30,000 pounds.
Note siting by Basil Brown of former road & well in bed of lake during dry summers - ? lake part of landscaping. Formerly recorded under RGV 014. In 1783 Park was between 1 and 1.5 miles across (S1).
