Full Description
Male human skull and many animal bones in same area. Found under peat, in ? ancient river course, in bank of River Waveney during spell of extreme low water during dry hot summer. Found by John Dean while canoeing on 23 August 1989, `about 2m below land surface ... 62 yards W of road bridge'. Reported to police at Diss (S1)(S2). Note confusion over actual findspot, also recorded under SUS 008 (CRN 11566).
Findspot adjoins large Rom site SUS 001, 005 & 009 & various Neo finds SUS 001, 009 & 012. (CRNs 03929, 03938, 09942)
