Full Description

Concentration of pottery sherds, some kiln wasters and tile fragments in an area about 10m square (S1). The pottery is mainly unglazed and part green- glazed Late Medieval and Transitional ware with a high percentage of jugs with strap handles, also includes a few fragments from an open form of vessel with a rich green glaze on the interior and over the rim. There are some probable kiln furniture fragments present.
