Full Description

Substantial scatter of pottery, mainly unglazed and part-glazed wares, C13- C14. Includes some sherds with black underglaze strips (? of Weybread type) & also underglaze yellow stripes, strap & rod handles (? some Grimston type). Also two rims & a base of unglazed pottery with a sparse shell temper, ?C12-C13. Lava mill stone fragments, oyster shells and animal bones. Found 1985 on arable formerly ancient pasture (S1).
