Full Description

20 Dec 1989: Fieldwalked, 30m transects, thick crop giving only 10-20% visibility, located scatter of Rom pottery at E end of field, although `walked' at W end also (by metal detector user?)(S1). Finds consisted of 15 `grey ware' sherds, 1 shell fired sherd, 1 colour coated (Nene Valley?). Also 2 Med sherds, thin PMed glazed ?manuring scatter, 2 (Mes?) struck flints and 1 flint scraper (EBA?) & 1 burnt flint.
