Full Description

C12-C14 pottery scatter and coin of Henry I (1100-1135) found by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s): 1 rim sherd EMed (C12); 5 rim, 1 base & 8 body sherds Med unglazed coarseware (120g), date range late C12-early C14 (S1).
Coin is penny with small facing bust/cross fleury type, similar to Seaby no. 1271, moneyer +SPERHAFEC. Rare, obverse as British Museum (BMC 72) and reverse as one from Lincoln Hoard (1972), 1973-8-23-97. Details in (S2). Also C17/C18 bronze three piece harness fitting (S1).
