Full Description

Scatter of pottery and metalwork found metal detecting. Area corresponds to double ditched enclosure visible on AP. Pottery grey wares probably C2-C4 including flanged rim bowl. Coin range Trajan (97-117) - Valentinian (364- 378). Brooches include Colchester derivatives (double pierced lug and hinged types), head stud and enamelled hinged bow type. Two C3/C4 bracelet fragments (S1).
1996: Further detector finds of 45 coins, spoon fragment, head stud type brooch fragment, Alcester type trumpet variant brooch, bracelet fragment and Colchester derivative hinged type brooch fragment.
Also IA, Sax, some stray Med/PMed finds, Un cropmarks.
