Full Description
Feature disclosed during watching brief in hand dug post/upright footing (one of ten such footings, circa 85cm square). Truncated by plough but surviving to 43cm depth below plough. Visible in NE (& SW) section, so possibly gully like feature rather than regular pit? Probably prehistoric, though no finds. Believed to be prehistoric flint scatter on sand ridge to N (now under grass) on same field (S1).
