Full Description

Deposit of dark charcoally sandy soil with occasional sherd of C16 pottery and animal bone between circa 50cm and 1.20m depth. Overlain by soil of similar nature with platform gunflint knapping waste. Located during watching brief in footing trenches on N half of house development at junction of former Bury Road and George Street.
PMed cellars on Bury Road frontage (S1).
