Full Description

Fragments of three flint axes, found over a length of time on farmland: a. Blade end of part-polished axe, 4.7cm wide x 1.1cm thick. Surviving length of 4.4cm. Light brown flint.
b. Butt end of polished axe, 4.6cm tapering to 3.5cm wide, 2.5cm thick, surviving length 7.3cm. Battering marks on one side. Mottled grey and white flint.
c. Butt end of polished axe, 4.7cm tapering to 2.5cm wide, 2.2cm thick, surviving length 6.5cm. Black flint with fine white mottling (S1).
