Full Description

Rom material found during building operations include: 1989/90 silver finger ring with cornelian intaglio of a ?rabbit eating a bunch of grapes - closely paralleled in Snettisham jewellers hoard (R1)(S1)(R2). Found in spoil, believed to be from ?this site at ?Peterborough.
June 1990: pottery found during watching brief in spoil from circa (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)(S2).
October 1990: Single sherd from (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) and report by site manager of metal detected finds from NW quadrant of site, including fragment plate brooch, C4 bronze coin and silver siliqua of Julian I. Also rim sherd (S2). ?Outliers from site MNL 167.
December 1995: Bronze toliet implement possibly found in area. Some similarity to Early Saxon 'scrapers'. Could also be from MNL 333.
