Full Description

Scatter of flint and sand tempered IA pottery, including one possible Darmsden type burnished rim. Found in three main concentrations (for details see the parish file)(S1).
1991: More pottery found, extending the area. Pottery mainly flint- tempered, with a small amount of sand and grog-tempered. Also 3 fragments of fired daub, one with a moulded hole or piercing of about pen thickness (S2). The majority of the material comes from the central & western parts of the scatter. Also worked flint - see Neo. See also BA & Rom.
