Full Description

1965: Scatter/s of domestic(?) Neo and BA pottery including 4 (3 joining) sherds of `corky' fabric. Joining sherds from flat upright rim with oblique finger nail slashing along top. Plain below rim apart from two perforations. Possibly grooved ware. Much of remaining pottery heavily flint gritted, flat base suggests BA rather than Neo date (S1).
Found on field to NW of present Wildmere Farm, after being ploughed for first time, by daughters of owner(?), (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) (S2). Also BA.
