Full Description

Material found at the same time as the IA horse harness hoard: a scatter of pottery in the area (circa 2 acres) of darker soil, mainly grey ware plus one Samian sherd. A brass coin "said to be of Faustina" (mid C2). A bronze lamp with crescent shape over the handle. A small blue glass bead (S1). Metal detected finds from a fairly broad area include a hinged type Colchester derivative brooch, a Hod Hill brooch and an enamelled flat fragment (S2).
