Full Description

Circular lead seal, probably a bale seal. The obverse bears a merchant's mark incorporating the initials ME; the reverse has a letter N. The same merchant's mark occurs on a lead seal in Moyses Hall Museum (S1). Probably C16-C17. Found with a metal detector (S2).
