Full Description
Roman (pottery) vessel full of denarii, of Antoninus Pius (AD 138- 161)(S1)(R1). Possibly (?) associated with Saxon bronze vessels - see Sax. Formerly sited to TL 082 565 by Basil Brown (S2)(S3). Relocated after (S1), although note reference to being found `during the construction of a railway cutting' - see alternative location BAD 002.
