Full Description

Brooch fragment, bowed lozenge with black inlaid decorations, tinned surface, and a coin of Crispus (AD 318-324) found metal detecting (S1). More Rom finds to N, see BRD 036. Finds from this field mentioned previously - denarius of Vespasian and bronze tweezers (S2).
Further finds (some very widely scattered to S and E) include a cosmetic palette, hinged Colchester derivative brooch and a siliqua of Valentinian I (S1).
