Full Description
1991: Med & PMed pottery scatter near Alderton House, C12-C16/C17, with bulk in C13/C15 period: 1 rim Thetford type ware; 3 rim & 11 body sherds EMed coarseware (80g); 21 rim & 168 body, handle & base sherds Med coarseware (1,700g); 28 sherds LMed/LMT unglazed wares (240g); 14 sherds LMed glazed wares (140g)(S1).
Finds from metal detecting survey include plain strap end plate and ?Edward III coin (S2).
