Full Description
1991: Medieval & Post Medieval pottery scatter near Alderton House, C12-C16/C17, mostly C13-C15. Post Medieval consists of 8 sherds Early Post Medieval glazed wares (120g); 1 sherd stoneware. Details in (S1).
1991: Finds from metal detecting survey include Late Medieval /C16 & C16/C17 buckles and buckle fragments. Details in (S2).
1995: Further Medieval and Post Medieval metal detector finds from mainly Medieval and Post Medieval site. Square silver setting containing dark blue glass, Bronze belt mount fragment and a bronze foot on triangular section shaft. Details in (S3).
1996: Further Medieval and Post Medieval metal detector finds from mainly Medieval and Post Medieval site. Rectangular Lead weight, bronze Token 15th Century AVE MARIA GRACIA PLENA 'Hail Mary full of Grace' French series/jetton, bronze acorn belt mount, bronze fragment Large d-shaped buckle and a square Lead weight.
