Full Description

June 1979: Sample of pottery & burnt clay & kiln fabric found after rotavation for flower beds in garden of `Wheatlands Manor' by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Pottery from 3/4 different sized jugs of grey buff & red fabric with very variable glazes in dark & light green, brown, black & yellow. Identified (by SEW) as late Med, C15-C16? (S1).
