Full Description

Silver Republican denarius, circa 150 BC. Helmetted head of Roma looking right, ?Victory in chariot on reverse. Found during Ipswich & District Detector Club rally, 1987, finder un-named (S1). Sketch & details in parish file.
Note LIA gold stater, SLY 046, found in field to N.
1992: 13th century lead seal matrix, flat and round with projecting tab, inscription reads 'the seal of Willian of Kirket[on]', die has a central lis motif, central upright piece has additional lines in herringbone, details in (S2).
