Full Description

Scatter of Med pottery (S1). At least half of the material is C15-C16 `Late Medieval and Transitional' ware, including one undoubted kiln waster with glaze extending over a break surface. In view of the known presence of pottery kilns of this period in Weybread, there must be a strong possibility of a kiln or kiln dump in this area. The remainder of the material is unglazed C14-C15 pottery. Site adjoins some farm buildings and a barn.
