Full Description
M & LSax pottery scatter and ?caterpillar brooch fragment (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s).
1991: Pottery found fieldwalking, good visibility. Finds listed as 1 body sherd ? Ipswich ware and 5 rim sherds, 2 base sherds and 17 body sherds Thetford type ware (S1).
Caterpillar shaped bronze strip decorated with bands and ring & dot decoration, probably caterpillar brooch (M/LSax). Found metal detecting (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)(S2). Also triple pierced hooked tag with crude incised decoration and 1 rim & 1 body sherd Thetford type ware, found metal detecting(see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)(S3).
Also 3 sherds ?Rom pottery and 1 flint flake.
